First, some background information. I have the Lifeproof case, along with the headphone adaptor it comes with. I'm using an iPhone 4s and he newest headphones, with the buttons on them. I downloaded the 5.1 update this morning.
Recently, when I watch videos using the Netflix and Youtube apps, the video will repeatedly stop playing and either my music will start playing or Siri will pop up. Wheni say repeatedly, I mean
very repeatedly. Within seconds of stopping Siri or the music, they will pop up again. I've turned toggle off for both. I don't know if it has anything to do with the update(I idiotically forgot whether the problems started before or after updating); but it seems unlikely since the problem only occurs when my head phones are in.
Again, when the headphones are in and an I have music in the background while using other apps, my music will spreed up, like chipmunk music. It will not pause, either. I have to drag the timer back to the beginning, then press pause to get it to stop.
I've tried turning my phone off and on and killing the apps (quitting them via double clicking the home button, holding down one app and them hitting the red circle in them all), though I figured the wouldn't work. Alas, they didn't.
Any ideas? Thank you.
