In your head.
I have an older iMac. I would like to hook my DVD player up to it and use it instead of a TV set (something that I don’t have). What products could somebody recommend so that I can use it like a monitor via the Firewire or USB ports?

Edit: All I can find is this.
ForMac Studio

Your iMac (if CRT) has a VGA port at the Back.

With the Slot Loading iMac's there is a little cover at the back covering the port, and replace it with the other cover that came with your iMac (if you kept it), then you can plug in normal VGA device as what you could do on a PC, e.g. a projector. (This does not void Warranty).

[edit: Sorry I miss read your post, for the money it costs to buy a Analogue to Digital converter so you can watch a DVD on your small screen, you can buy a Bigger TV, here is the cheapest one I know of http://www.miglia.com/products/video/director2/index.html]
