Well it certainly looks different. I'll give it a playback test shortly. Hopefully it won't have the performance issue that plagued 0.6.0.

Crikey, have a look at the change list for this release.
I'm used to downloading programs where there's maybe two obscure changes.

"fixed an intermittent issue where if you had an 2G iPod, USB memory stick and HP printer connected while running Office, Mail and this program at the same time with the moon in line with jupiter, it may have possibly given unpredictable results for 0.48 seconds"

I'm pleased :)

:D

Hmm I think it's not compatible with the G5. VLC crashed CoreAudio, forcing me to reboot because the sound was gone from all apps. Then after reboot the balance (in sound pref) was acting weird. Balance to the right didn't work (still audio from L&R), balance all the way to the left worked fine. After clicking on and off some the option in the Sound prefpane my audio came back normal.

I found it to stop momentarily and then, pounce forward. Apparently, the buffering of the data stream from the server process is not quite right, but it's a huge improvement. Menu selections are getting closer visually but are not as accurate in choosing them now.
