I wanted to edit a video I filmed, so I went to edit it in WLMM. But it was giving me problems and I just found out about the noise reduction feature in iMovie so I went to edit it in iMovie.
I plug in my camera, start iMovie, and tell the clips I want to import.
So after I started editing I realized that the video looked really bad. I thought I was just imagining things so I went back to play the video clips on my Windows computer and found out that I wasn't. The videos looked way better on Windows (in WLMM and in WMP). So I thought it was a Mac problem (because Mac does not support mpeg which was the orignal format of the clips before iMovie converted them).
But I found the converted files on the Mac and played them with QuickTime and they looked just fine. So it must be a iMovie problem. Any ideas?
Info:
Mac OS version: 10.6.8
iLife/iMovie version: '11
Camera model: Sony HDR-CX160
Orignal video format: .mpg/MPEG
Let me know if you need anymore info.
