Hi.

My iPod touch 3rd gen isn't able to play videos and or music any more. When I go to play the video and hit the play button, the video doesn't respond at all and doesn't advance at all, after a few seconds, the video pauses on its own. You can still scroll through the video and see everything on it, but it doesn't play. This is for all the video and music player on my ipod. I have had it for about 4 or 5 years now and a few years ago I updated to 5.1.1. I have never had any problems like this. About 2 weeks ago, something happened and a small dent got put in the back plate (don't ask me how because I have no idea). I don't think this is a big deal because it is very small. But for about 2 to 3 weeks my ipod has been acting very slow and not responding for a long time. I already restored it to no effect. It is still lagging a lot and has the same video problem.

I am just not sure what to do, I have already restored it and am not sure where to go next.

I will appreciate any help

Thanks
