Hello all,

Anyone else having trouble with video out with one of the new aluminum MacBooks?

I have the DVI DisplayPort adapter connected to a 22" Acer LCD and it does not output video correctly.

Steps I've tried to get this to work:

Clicking "Detect Monitors" in the Display pane of System Preferences-no change
Boot with open lid and adapter/monitor attached-no change
Boot with closed lid and adapter/monitor attached-low resolution on external LCD, click "Detect Monitors" to correct and then external LCD shuts off

The only visual feedback I get is on the MacBook's display after plugging in the adapter/monitor. It flashes blue and then flashes back to the desktop.

Edit: System Profiler states that no external display is connected
