A question on the basics of video out. I was looking at a LENOVO T60. It has a max resolution of roughly 2000 x 1500 BUT looks to only have the old VGA port out. What PRACTICAL difference will I see if using that VGA out vs the more modern DVI? I will be projecting HD video clips through an sxga or wuxga projector.

Another way of asking the question is what PRACTICAL advantage does DVI get me?

Also looking at the new SONY AR which has HDMI video out and BlueRay drive and WUXGA screen - wow.
