Hey Everyone,
I was holding out for the 15" Macbook Pro with the Vega graphics because I thought that the GPU was important for video editing, however, the more I look into this, the more that I see that the CPU is actually much more important for this purpose, and maybe the GPU is not worth the cost difference.
I use Adobe Premiere.

(Would be getting apple care either way - leaning toward refurbished 15" option, but also like the idea of 13" portability + extra power at home for rendering.)

1. Seeing as how a new 15" MBP with Vega 16, 16GB memory, 6-core i7 Processor, and 512GB ssd is over $3,000
2. An equivalent apple certified refurbished from July 2018 is only $2,379 - the only difference being it has Radeon Pro 560X instead of Vega.
3. Or am I unlikely to notice that big of a difference if I instead went with a quad-core 13" MBP with intel iris graphics and maybe getting a an eGPU for faster rendering at home.
