I'm having a lot of issues when playing back videos on my 2010 MBP 15".
When playing through VLC media player, every minute or so, the video will glitch and totally mess up the video rendering. It takes about 10 seconds for it to 'recover' and become watchable again.
Even worse, when I try to watch the apple keynote presentation through the apple website, it is totally unwatchable. The rendering is completely screwed up, showing all sorts of weird colours and effects.
Playback of YouTube videos seems fine, so I guess it is a particular codec on the machine that is causing problems. I've tried installing Perian, to no avail.
Any ideas?
