Dear all,
A few quick questions on Quicktime (or Mac video players)... Pardon me if these are stupid questions as I am very green to this field...
Q1: Is there a "skip forward" function in Quicktime or any Mac video players (VLC etc.) that I can skip say 10 seconds (preferrably customisable) using keyboard while DVD/video files playback?
Apparently, this is the only issue that keeps me booting up Windows all the time. I am using Corel Player in Wondows which, does have a very neat interface and "skip forward" function (unsing keyboard) during play back. I pray day and night to be Windows-free. Hope you guys can help me here.
Q2: Which are the most popular video players among the Mac community? It seems like Quicktime/Quicktime Pro (which I am intending to buy assumping it provides more solid functionality) have a better interface(?) than the others + I can use the apple remote to control video play back versus others. Am I right? Please kindly enlighten me...
Q3: (Depending on resoultion for Q1/Q2) Should I also get Flip4Mac or Perian or both for my video player to maxmise my video playback capability?
For your reference I have got a MBP (July-2007) with Quicktime installed. Your guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
