Video playing problems in any browser..

Safari or Firefox, I can't seem to play any videos. Youtube or any other site, without it freezing up after a few seconds. After I upgraded to 10.7.1 it seemed to work again but now its back to freezing. Anything I can do to fix this?

anyone?? Now the videos sometime play in safari, but it's all scrambled...but works okay in another browser like fire fox.
