video playlists?

I need a program that will let me do playlists of videos, like avi, mpeg, etc etc..

i want to be able to put my downloaded episodes into that playlist and make my own scheduled program on my hdtv (I have the second desktop on the HDTV) so it will look like i have cable tv!

I'm not really sure what you mean, but won't FrontRow let you do this basically? Just list your TV Shows there and you can watch any of them you want. I separate them by Category, Show, etc. I use external drives to keep them all.

If I'm missing the point, re-post with some carification.
