So a while back I was having trouble with my Mac lagging, like the cursor would lag while playing videos and the videos themselves would lag. I'm running a fairly new 2017 MBP 13" so I knew it couldn't be an underpowered machine.

Recently I tried playing the videos (practically any website) in Firefox and wow, no issue. Typically I strictly use Safari, and this is the first time I've had a problem.

Anyone else having this problem?

You're in luck sir. You're not alone. This is an awful bug / issue and it took a long time to get answer too. Read this thread, solution to fix it is on page six.

Tried it, the issue still persists. I'll call Apple Support tomorrow. Maybe it's just a bug in the Mojave beta. It's weird, it seems only certain sites and only with Safari. YouTube works okay, for example, as does CNN.

I'm baffled.

I have this problem too . Thank you solved my problem on a MacBook 2017 13’ running Mojave. But it’s still quite slow sometimes, the drivers are pretty bad , this was happening from the last security update ..
