I was downloading a video and it downloaded in parts. How do I put the parts together? This is what the end of the files a got look like.

avi.001
avi.002
avi.003
....

I tried removing the 001 and so on, but I could only play the first one, and then quicktime said that the rest weren't movie files. How do you put these together?

You could convert them to .mp4 using iSquint and then import them into iMovie and then export them as a one clip to either DVD or some other format

You can put all the pieces together in one big format in many ways, if you , you can put all 4 into imoviehd/08, and u might think im stupid, but you can save it, then download visualhub or quicktime and convert to an AVI, or MP4 for itunes. Also you can buy quicktime pro for around $30.00 and add all clips together.
