Video Problems

Hi, i have problems with my video playback on my macbook in quicktime,divx and vlc the files look fine on my pc but when i try to play the on the mac the quality is bad wih lots of colours flashing and sometimes noise... as far as i know i installed all the plugins and i use the latest versions of everything Divx, newest vlc updated quicktime pro with perian plugin is there something i forgot ?
i finally wanna be able to watch my movies on my pretty screen and not use any pc´s anymore!

Did you try VLC for Mac?

thanks for the quick reply, and yes i did most times it works better than quicktime but not as good as it should first i thought it was just bad quality movies but they look excellent on pc (windows media player ans vlc)
