Hi everyone,
Every time I try to put one particular .mp4 video into iTunes, the result is dramatically worse than the original. The video flashes black, is staticy, stutters, and is completely horrible. This only happens with this one video, and nothing seems to fix it. I've tried:
1. Using the 'record' feature in VLC to create a completely new file, which is still bad in iTunes.
2. Converting the file to other iTunes compatible extensions, .wav, .mov, .m4v etc.
3. Using iDentify to re-encode the file.
4. Putting it through Handbrake. This time, the file Handbrake gives me is already bad, which makes me think it's the file, not iTunes. Either way, VLC plays it perfectly first time 'round.
I'm completely lost at this point, any suggestions?
Here is a screen recording of the playback in iTunes:
