I'm doing editing of home/family stuff taken from my gs500 mini dv cam.
I've read there is a glaring dif between the hd 06 and 08 versions of imovie in terms of video quality. Something about single as opposed to hd 06's double filter. Anybody know about this? I know 06 had more controls and editing stuff, but what about pic quality?
Also, if I've already transferred video to my mbp with 08, but then import or open it for editing in hd 06, will I get the benefit of the double filter? Or, do I have to reimport directly in hd 06 from all my dv tapes?
