Hello -- I'm a brand new OS X user and I'm excited to try to take advantage of some of its features. I have some presentations in pdf format (not from Keynote) that I'd like to record with my voice and perhaps with a small picture of me talking. I know that I'm able to do such a think using iChat Theater, and that iChat has a video record feature so that I can save such a presentation.

However, I'd like to make a recording without actually having to perform for one of my iChat contacts. Is there a way to use iChat Theater to record a presentation without having to be connected to another user? Or is there any other application I can use to do this that would naturally take advantage of my macbook's camera and microphone?

Thanks! I think this would be a great way to upload copies of academic talks.

Best,
F
