I did a quick search and could not find an answer but sorry if I missed it. Is there a max length that you can record video with the 3Gs? I saw engadget say their video was 45 secs for their upload test but have not seen any mention of max recording time.

Until someone gets their hands on one and tries it we are unlikely to get that kind of detailed information. No doubt someone will post the answer shortly after launch. My guess would be it will stop when available storage space is reduced to a predefined minimum.

Somewhat related, but the NYTimes review (Pogue) stated that the 32 GB iPhone can hold just about 17 hours of video. If 1 hour is the real limit, you can always just restart it as soon as it reaches the limit.

Sorry to hijack thread, but does anyone know how much memory video recording on the iPhone 3GS takes? Like how many MB's per minute?

LoL. I knew that was the answer I was going to get. But that doesn't help me because I don't know if I should get the 16GB or the 32GB! =/

Bigger is always better. Assume video takes up 1 minute/25MB then...
I really have no clue but you probably won't see this so it doesn't matter right?
