Whenever I watch any kind of movie through iTunes or Quicktime I get a stupid rolling line going from the bottom to the top of the screen. The only thing I can compare it to is a VHS tape with bad tracking. The weird thing is if I'm using a VGA cable to my TV, the image rolls on my Mac, but looks perfect on the TV. I'm guessing it has something to do with the computer trying to conserve RAM usage? My guess is as good as anyone's...please help! It's very annoying.

Thanks =]

Conserving RAM is as good as guess as anyones. What versions of iTunes and QT are you using? I am not familiar with this problem, does this problem persist if you change the resolution of your screen? That is likely why the problem isn't seen on your TV.

iTunes 7 and whatever the latest Quicktime version is. It only seems to do it when I set the resolution higher than it is, such as if I hit "fit to screen."
