Not sure how to describe this problem. But when I go to "Export to Quicktime Movie" or "Export Using QuickTime conversion" the video shifts to th left and this creates a big problem. And, export to quicktime movie only exports the first few seconds of the movie that is 6 mins long. This is a football highlight reel and I put an arrow over the head of a player to point him out. when the video shifts, the arrows are all wrong. any idea of what's going on?

What version of QuickTime, FCP and Mac OS X are you running, and which codecs do you use to export the sequence?

Also what sequence settings did you use?

QT 10
FCP 5.0.4
OSX 10.6.2

NTSC 720X480 4:3

Not sure about sequence setting?

NTSC is a broadcast format, do you mean you used the DV NTSC codec for exporting your sequence?

Sequence settings can be viewed by right clicking on the sequence and selecting Sequence Settings.

Have you rendered everything before you exported?

Sequence settings are:

frame size: 720x480 NTSC DV (3:2)
pixel aspect ratio: NTSC - CCIR 601 DV 720X480
field dominace: lower (even)
editing timebase: 29.97

qt video settings

compressor: dv/dvcpro - NTSC
quality: 100%

audio settings

rate: 48khz
depth: 16 bit
config: default

I think everything is rendered, I did a render all audio and video.
