Video sound distorts when in a background

I have 2016 15" MBP touch-bar running 10.12.5. If I have my browser in the background with a video playing either with Youtube or Vimeo after a few minutes the sound of the video starts to distort. I hear some pops and stuttering auto. As soon as I bring the browser as the front app the issue goes away.

Any idea what is going on here?

Ha ha it was my own fault. I use App Tamer and it was causing the issue
