Video splitting question

So I have a need at work, here's the scenario -

I have an LCD TV on the wall and I need to be able to have it available to receive signal from my MBP OR a PC desktop.

I'm thinking a manual type of switch etc but does the video get terribly degraded ?

Any suggestions ?
