video stabilization?

Would this be possible to do maybe in an update or app? I do my videos from my phone and it looks a lot better. I use Imovie. Would be very nice to have.

iMovie can do video stabilisation. Is that what you mean?

Since it's not supported in hardware, it would have to be software. It would take too much CPU for something like that. Especially if you want it to be real-time.

Couldn't it use the accelerometer? I've heard of other stabilization things using that.

Yea I do it already on itunes. It works well. It would be nice to add it to the phone like the trim function witch is going to be on snow leopard.

Hopefully, some company will make an affordable gimbaled and counter-weighted steady-cam grip for the iPhone.
