Video stitching freeware

I'm looking for a freeware app that will allow me to stitch two or more videos together. I don't know if a free version of such an app is available but any help is much appreciated.

Yeah, I knew iMovie would do it, it just takes so long to import two large video files.

That I didn't know! I was going to recommend simple video splicer

I seriously recommend paying the $23/4 (which works out 13pound) and getting VisualHub. It works with ffmpeg but is faster and better layout and just worth the money
