video thumbnails in cam roll are blank/greyed out...

I checked my camera roll, the one I sync to my iPhone...previous videos I've shot.

The thumbnail box is there, it's just blank or whited out or greyed out, how ever you want to say it. Some also have a weird collage of colors within the box. I can still open and play the video properly but I have no idea what video I'm opening as the regular thumbnail isn't present anymore.

Is this happening to anyone else or have you maybe heard of this issue?

I'm also wondering if a simple uninstall - reinstall would fix the problem?

I was thinking about resyncing the videos...hopefully that'll do it.

You could try re-syncing the videos and see if that just refreshes it. Have you tried resetting the phone yet (holding down both the sleep/wake button and home button until the phone reboots)? I have an old iPod touch which has a bunch of small issues and freezes up a lot and resetting it usually solves the problems for me.
