I shot hours and hours of surveillance video... But it's too long and boring to watch lol.
So is there a tool to make jpg frames of every 5 seconds so I can just view those in a sequence instead of watching the video? I found a converter for every 10 seconds, but not less... Does anyone know of any?

Why on Earth would you sit there with your arms folded watching video in real time? You can manually shuffle through the video in a lot less time than it will take to convert it to stills.

quicktime pro (old version) lets you export to an image sequence you can choose the second interval and the image type you export to. quicktime does not give you a timestamp in either the filename or watermarked in the video though.

however the time it takes to convert and then view it. i must agree with the poster above. its much quicker and easier to just fast forward through the video.
