Hello Macfans,

I have a Sylvania portable DVD player with a USB and SD card input. I know that because of the FAT files system on the SD card I can't put an .iso file on the card but a VIDEO_TS folder will definitely work. However I can't get the folder to load on the player like a regular DVD but the .VOB files do play at full resolution.

Is it possible to load on the player or am I just going to have to burn it to a DVD-R?

Not sure but maybe Sylvania has it that full DVD playback only works on the DVD side of things. It seems most set tops that allow SD and USB will play almost any file but as a file only.

Add: I'll test this on a PS3 and see if this can be done.
