I’ve ripped a movie with Mac the Ripper which converts the video to a Video TS file. I would like to bring that file into imovie in order to edit out some of the audio ie offensive language and some scenes. In addition, I would like to use some scenes in my own home movies. What’s the easiest way to accomplish this?

I'm not entirely sure if you can import a video_ts folder into iMovie. You may need to rip the movie into a video format using Handbrake (http://handbrake.m0k.org/) and edit it in iMovie then burn it to disc using iDVD or Toast.
