video upload??

so when I take a digi video and work on it with imovie. How do I save it so it can be uploaded to photobucket or something like that.

I did a short test video of my kids and when I save it to the comp I can see it but cannot highlight it or get it to upload.

I saved it to my desktop and in the HD.

when I find it with photobucket it will say "kids.mp4" but I can't do anything with it.

How do I save so it can be uploaded and shared??
