Video wallpaper in Mavericks

Can I run a video as a wallpaper, preferably using mplayer or some command line application? Also I would like to make my present window controllably transparent so that I can see the background video whenever I want.

In ubuntu I could do the same using xwinrap and compiz, but that option is not available in OS X!

Any help?
