hi all,

I found that we can put a video right into pages file.

is it possible to add a video into a pdf file?

Looks like it's at least possible with Acrobat (not the Reader). The video will be converted to Flash, who would have thought!

Acrobat can also embed other sorts of video into a PDF (like .mov) but playback depends on what the user has installed on their machine. (Adobe incorporated a Flash player into Acrobat/Reader 9, so playback of Flash in those apps doesn't require a plugin.)

looks like there's no way to make that happen to pages and convert to pdf with video content

Not that I'm aware of; your best bet might be to see if you can insert a link in the PDF that opens the (external) video file. (I think Preview can do this, but I'm more familiar with Acrobat.)
