Wow, this version runs horribly on my system. I'm going back to the old one.

This is a great program. I love using VLC for playing movie files (including VOB files ripped off a DVD so I don't have have to bring the disk with me when I travel).

I haven't tried this update yet, but I'm downloading it now. Thanks for the link!

improved support for the Matroska container format
