Today when I was just watching dl.tv (video podcast) through itunes, my computer just started feeling overworked. I usually always watch dl.tv in the bottom left of my screen and continue web browsing in the rest of the screen. Today though, the podcast would pause ever 3 or 4 seconds and skip around on me, not to mention iTunes would struggle and give me the old spinning color wheel when I went into it. I took a screen grab of activity monitor up and resource graph also.

Anybody have any clue why my system has suddenly dropped significantly in performance? The specs are in the sig! Thanks!

Edit: 1 gb of ram....never had any problem before.

UPDATE: Restarted my system and it ran fine for about 5 minutes. Now it is skipping constantly....this is KILLING me.

UPDATE 2: It may have been an encoding problem. I just checked dl.tv and there are a lot of people complaining of their podcasts crashing 30 seconds or so into it.
