Videos acting up in Firefox

This is very disappointing.

I bought my mbp less than 2 weeks ago and I'm already getting the signs of a malfunctioning GPU. Boredom lead me to play the mac basics video on apple's mac portion of their site. I started seeing white blocks and flickering video.

But here is the confusing part, the same video played in Safari yields no issues.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do. I'm probably going to take a trip to the apple store on Thursday.

If Safari plays the same video with no issus, maybe the problem is related to Firefox, not with hardware? Do you tried to delete a profile in Firefox?
