Hi everybody--

I would like to purchase Coldplay's Austin City Limits album via iTunes. However, I do NOT have the video iPod.

Will I be able to play it on my 4G iPod and hear the audio? I already know that I won't be able to view the video.

Thanks,
Greg

My gut feeling is no. The reason is the ipod plays mp4 video files i believe which is not the same as an audio file. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I am pretty sure you can extract the audio file using quicktime once again correct me if I am wrong. Perhaps an automatoer program would work. Sorry for not being too helpful lol

the poster above me was on the right track. no you couldn't listen to it on your ipod without a little bit of work. you could use audactity to record the audio from it (or do that quicktime thing he was talking about- although i don't know if that solution exists). you could watch it on your computer though...
