Videos aren't synced and I don't get it...

I am still pretty new to the whole apple universe.
I bought an iMac about 6 months ago and a iPhone 6 about 3 months ago.

One thing that's really bugging me, is the syncing.
I have lots of issues and I find it very hard to figure out where the correct setting are etc.
I am usually pretty good at computers and technical stuff, but I am getting floored by apple

Right now, I am struggling with getting my videos from my iPhone over to my mac over wifi.

I have set up icloud on bot devices and there is some connection, because my photos gets synced automatically.

But my videos doesn't show up in my Photos app on my mac.

I have looked at settings, but I simply cannot find it anywhere.

Please help me understand this

Hey everyone... I am still struggling with this.
When I look at: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201302 it say "You can import only photo and video content taken with the built-in camera or captured on the device."

But it doesn't work for me. My videos aren't synced. Anyone knows?
