videos from iPhone too large to import?

I got my iPhone today and have been trying to get the various little test videos I took today off of it. The only problem is that iPhoto says the videos are "too large to import" and iMovie doesn't even show my iPhone in its list of devices to import from. The videos are too large to email too. They're only mostly about a minute long each though.

Anyone know how the heck do I get them off my iPhone??? (Mac only)
