iPod Videos from iPod to Hard Drive

Hello everyone.

This is a question from my brother.

Is there anyway to copy videos from the iPod back to the hard drive? He is afraid to put it back on automatic update because the last time he did, the videos were erased. So he got them back on the iPod and got them off the hard drive for space reasons. The reason he wants to put it back on automatic update is because he just got the artwork for his music and it hasn't manually updated on the iPod.

In a nutshell, how do you copy the videos from the iPod back to your HD (if there is even a way)
