I'm curious how saving videos from the photos app that were shot on my iPhone (saving from photos to my computers hard drive, the desktop for example) works, specifically were the metadata goes. If a video is in the photos app, you can right click, select "get info" and it shows you all sorts of fun stuff like when it was shot, where it was shot, and you can add descriptions, titles, etc. But when drag a video to a folder from photos it transfers it as a .m4v, and that meta data seems to disappear, the same thing also happens if you chose to "export" a video, which transfers it as a .mov. Is there any way I can keep this for my videos, but still save them in a manner that is not photos (iCloud)?
Thanks, and I hope that made sense.
