Videos in Aperture slideshow distorted

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to make a slideshow in Aperture that includes standard definition 4:3 home videos. The videos play in their project folders fine but when they are part of the slideshow they become 'squeezed'. Its like Aperture is trying to distort the videos into a portrait shape, regardless of theme. How can i stop this? Pic attached.
