Videos look washed out after upgrading to snow leopard

Hey guys,
After upgrading to snow leopard I noticed a lot of my videos, downloaded from the internet, bought of itunes, and burnt to a disk, now look very washed out, kind of fuzzy. I don't think it's my imagination. Anyone have any advise?

It could be the color profile change and the default gamma changing to 2.2 from 1.8.

Try re-calibrating the screen with either the built in calibration wizard or SuperCal and see if that helps. 2.2 works pretty nicely on most MacBooks I've seen, but some people will still prefer 1.8 (I know I did until I just forced myself to leave it at 2.2 and adjusted)
