Videos from dailymotion or metacafe do not work on ipod touch 1st generation after 3.0 update. They worked fine before the update. You tube still works. Does any one else have this problem? If so have you found a remedy for this? When you click on the video all you get is a bunch of script that looks like the programming info for the video.

The iPhone or iPod touch still doesn't have support for Flash, however, Apple and Google (YouTube) have an agreement so that almost all YouTube videos will work with the iPhone or iPod touch (hence the YouTube app).

If you read my first post you will see that they were working before the update. Dailymotion has some videos that are iPhone compatible, and so does metacafe. I think the update somehow changed the iPod so it can't play them. Thanks for your response though. Anybody else have anything else about this?

Dailymotion is working fine on my end. I just updated my flash player. Maybe you have too. This is actually what I am trying to avoid, that one day all videos won't be available for viewing for some reasons. I always watch on Dailymotion and other sites. That is why I download each time I watch them. Anyways free downloaders are avaialble. Just in case you want to download each videos try this https://acethinker.com/grab-dailymotion/
