I'm not able to get Cnet's videos to play on any of my web browsers either chrome (the main one) or safari or firefox. I remember at one point using developers tools via a recommendation from sharon at cnet to extend battery life. Though now I can't remember what I did, so I'm guessing that is what is causing it. It was also something to do with fooling price line to not know I was on a mac.

Does anybody have any idea what I may have done?

Sounds like what you are talking about is the Developer Tools in Safari
Go to your Menu under Develop -> User Agent
That is where you can "fool" Price Line as you say about using a Mac

Not sure that would affect your videos though

I do have that set as safari, when i click on the cnet video I get install and update flash player (which it is to date) you tube plays on both safari and chrome too. So I don't get it.
