Videos on IPad Are Greyed Out

I just upgraded to IOS 10 on my iPad Pro 9.7 inch and I have a question. I have a bunch of movies of my lil nephew(They are all MP4 format) I first put them in iTunes and synced them, but when I went now to videos(It shows up under HOME MOVIES) Id say the majority of them are just grey boxes..yes you can click on each one and play the movie but you have no idea what you are playing. I want to be able to see an image of the movie so I know what I am viewing..a few of them have it like that but the rest of them dont is there a way to fix that
