Videos play in Safari but not other browsers?

I have always used Safari to watch windows media files. Now I wanted to use Opera or Camino. I tried the videos(windows media player) on NHL.com(click video) and they either didn't work at all or were very messed up looking(double image). I am using flip for mac with my intel macbook. all the those videos work like on youtube and cnet.
 
I just looked at the video of the day in a nightly version of Firefox 2.0.0.2 with Flip4Mac, Flash, RealPlayer, etc. installed and had no problem other than a lack of synchronisation for a few seconds.
