Videos speed up

Hi guys, I really need your help right now.

Has anyone noticed how some videos speed up in QuickLook and FrontRow?
So I narrowed it down to only AVI files with DivX codecs that speed up.
MOVs and MPGs do fine.
Also, the movies only speed up when they are in "Movies" folder.

Can anyone tell me what to do?

Here's what I'm running

Mac OSX Leopard
PB G4 1.5ghz 15"
1.5gb RAM
250gb HDD
Perian, Flip4Mac, DivX codec all installed.
