Videos won't play

I'm on an ibook pro Mac Leopard - clean - basic apps not a lot of extras or plugins. Cannot get either visual or audio on videos showing up in an email or download coming from EZs3
I've downloaded current javascript, flashplayer, Quick Time player.
I think this may be just since I installed Leopard about a month ago. Have been trying everything on Firefox & Safari with no luck. Trashed any old unused programs. Would sure appreciate some help! thanks

What specific Mac model to you have as you seemed to have some kind of mutation of an iBook, Mac Pro and a Leopard? So do you have an iBook or a Mac Pro or a MacBook or a MacBook Pro? Or something else entirely (Thinkpad)?
