I have an eyeToy from my PS2 and a Mac Mini for a HTPC.
I have Macam and iChat USB for the EyeToy to work with the Mac Mini.

I was wondering what's the best way to be able to remotely view the webcam from another Mac/PC, or even better, an iPhone.

I found the iPhone app Fring that can one-way Skype video chat. I'm not sure if this is the best solution.

Ideally, I would want to be able to run this while having Plex running in the foreground.

I don't HAVE to use the EyeToy, I don't mind getting a different webcam if it's easier, as long as it's an affordable webcam.

This is mostly just so we can peek in on our dachshund if we have to leave him while at work.

Haha, I know.
It was at my girlfriend's request.

It would be cool if there was a solid Skype plugin for FrontRow or Plex.

right now i have fring on my iPhone. it allows one way video chat.
and the eyetoy on the mac mini
both with a skype account.
so it should work.
i havent hooked up the eyetoy yet.
im afraid the fring works opposite way i want.
