I like when my font is small, not too small, but small enough so I can read it.

Is there any way to make it show up at 10pt instead of 12 as default. I don't feel like going through EVERY folder I have and changing it to 10pt.

The reason I want it at 10, is because for school I have long file names, so I'd like to see the full name without adjusting the margins.

At the bottom of the view options window, hit Use as defaults.

Yeah, depends on the version of OS X for the steps.

In 10.5 -

Open a folder, choose View-> show view options

Set the font as you want, then click use as defaults on the bottom.
